What a shame? What a disgrace. The same persons we once entrusted with leadership dockets hoping that they would be the emblem of national cohesion in the school are the same lads who are championing for ethnic segregation in Mount Kenya. How on earth would you post to the school's official Facebook group in your mothertounge. Whether your words are good or bad, the perception from the non-kalenjin may be that you are passing information to a certain group of people. For heaven's sake, MKU is a familiy and not a tribe. Why would Septimus post such ethnic content in a metropolitan group? He shows us that he was not up to the capacity of a leader. Tribalism has for years shredded down the curtains of democracy and transparency in our school, and at a time when we think we had the right leaders to help finish ethnic divisions, it is just when a former leader gets the irritating guts to go tribal on the school's social page. At this election season, people are fighting hard to ensure that the next office holders are not tribal. We need reality, we need justice, we need a Mount Kenya free of tribal utterances or anything whatsoever that may cause bad feelings between students and communities. Am not the group admin, but I can rule that it is sensible enough to post in English, Swahili or even sheng.
Eldopeak was quick enough to capture his posts in the page before he removes it(which he eventually did). Here are his utterances of hate speech and the preceding comments from his friends to whom he also threw insults.
It all started with a Kalenjin post that stated "Be smart, Am seeing things that are not appealling. Guard your land!!". This message seems to be speciffically directed to his fellow Kalenjins. It leaves many questions unanswered. Check out the conversation below....
